優(yōu)良設(shè)計大獎是日本唯一的全面產(chǎn)品設(shè)計評估和表彰獎。大獎的原身是日本國際貿(mào)易和工業(yè)部在1957年創(chuàng)立的G-Mark獎。優(yōu)良設(shè)計大獎由日本工業(yè)設(shè)計促進協(xié)會（JIDPO）贊助，每年根據(jù)設(shè)計品質(zhì)、設(shè)計理念和創(chuàng)新程度，頒發(fā)給被認為提升了消費者生活質(zhì)量和標準的產(chǎn)品。

報名截止日期：2006年6月7日星期三

主辦：Japan Industrial Design Promotion Organization
支持 (prospective)：Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, JETRO, The Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, ASEAN Promotion Centre on Trade, Investment and Tourism., ICSID, ICOGRADA and others.
參賽資格：All types of industrial products produced by manufacturers, design studios, and entrepreneurs.
評審：Screening will be carried out by about 70 designers, architects, journalists, and person with academic or professional experience in each field.
